Sony today confirmed the release date for Resistance: Burning Skies, the portable shooter headed to PlayStation Vita.
The game hits stores on May 29. Insomniac Games, creators of the first three Resistance titles for PlayStation 3, are passing the development torch for the game over to Nihilistic Software, who previously worked on PlayStation Move Heroes and Zombie Apocalypse.
Insomniac Games stated last month it was no longer developing titles in the Resistance series after the third game.

Remember Big Boss saluting at the grave of The Boss? How about the fate of John Marston in Red Dead Redemption? Or the insane final moments of Portal 2? Well, none of those endings are as good as the one in Call of Duty: Black Ops, according to the 2012 Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition book.
After 13,519 votes were counted, the 2010 Call of Duty entry stood atop the list of greatest gaming endings of all time. If I remember correctly, it involved shooting a lot of guys, hearing Ed Harris yell something, doing a QTE or two, and then seeing jets fly overhead as a guitar riff played.

We haven't seen much of Unreal Engine 4 outside of that Samaritan tech demo released last year, but we'll be seeing more in 2012 according to Epic's Mark Rein. Speaking to G4 at DICE, he said "People are going to be shocked later this year when they see Unreal
Engine 4 and how much more profound an effect it will have."
Considering we might also be seeing some new consoles announced at E3, this could be the year that we get our first peek at what next-gen visuals may resemble.

As a thanks for everyone who bought Gotham City Impostors and helped during the beta, the first set of DLC will cost zero dollars.
The DLC should be available next month, and it includes the typical suite of additions for an online shooter. There will be a new map on the 25th Floor of the Gotham Times, the ability to join an in-progress match and mute annoying people faster, new weapons, a support item, costume choices, and a fun fact.
